The police have been advised from Waitara that a Maori boy, a son o£ Tarata Rona. was drowned in the Waitara river at Tikorangi while bathing. Leslie Okey, aged 29, son of Lieut.Col. Okey, and Henry Stamp, aged 79, died suddenly yesterday. Okey was subject to lits. Stamp's death was due to seni'e decay.
