BOOTMAKERS' CONFERENCE.
A CO-OPERATIVb FACTORY. [itV TKI.K'JKAI'II. A.— <HI ATION.] Dunedin, This Day. The Bootmakers' Conference bdt3 passed a resolution recommending the Federal Council to obtain the opinion of members of the Federation as to (he establishment of a co-operative boot factory. If the branches are favourable the Council is asked to appoint; a committee to draw up a scheme. The conference supports the adoption of the brand "Made in New Zealand," for footwear made in the Dominion, together with foe manufacturer's name.
