To Stand the Season at the Owner's Farm, KAEAEA, the Heavy draught stallion Honest Tom Sired by the famous imported horse Resolution, by Anchorite-Sweet Echo Dam Blossom, by General GordonLothair. Anchorite was bred by His late Majesty, Edward VII. of England. HONEST TOM was bred by Wm. Newall, Esq., of Tamahere, and exhibited by him on two occasions at Hamilton, gaining Ist prize as a yearling and a Ist and 2nd as a two-year-old, beating the best young draught stock from the Waikato stud farms. In appearance he does his rare breeding and show record credit, being a well-marked dark bay, with black points, standing 16 hands, has plenty of fine flat bone, and is of a compact and powerful build.
