POST OFFICE HOLIDAYS.
MONDAYS, 26th DECEMBER and 2nd JANUARY. MONDAYS, December 26th nnd January 2nd (for Christmas Dey and New Year's Day), the Post Office will be closed in all branches except the Telegraph branch, which will open from 9.30 a.m. to 10 a.m. All mails usually despatched on those days will close at 9 a.m. TUESDAY, 27th DECEMBER. On Tuesday, 27th December (for Boxing Day), the Post and Telegraph Offices will be open in all branches, except Money-order and Savings Bank, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. All Mails usually despatched on that day will close at 10 a.m. DELIVERY OVER COUNTER. There will be a delivery of letters over the counter between 7 and 8 p.m. on the evenings of Saturdays the 24th and 31st instants, but no delivery by the carrier on 26th December or 2nd January. TELEPHONE EXCHANGE. The Telephone Exchange will bo closed on 26th, 27th December, and 2nd January. A. E. MOORE, Postmaster.
