UNCUSTOMED GOODS.

[llY TKLKGBAPH. I'IWSS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, This Day. On November 15th, the Customs officers visited Whangaparapara, a small port on the Great Barrier island, and boarded the Melbourne Steamship Company's ship Brisbane. It is alleged they found that one side of a locker, which had been sealed up by the Lyttelton Customs officials, had been broken open and certain uncustomed goods removed. Eight bottles of whisky and seven of gin were discovered concealed about the ship, and it is alleged a quantity of tobacco was also removed from the locker. At the Magistrate's Court to-day the master and the steward of the Brisbane will be charged with breaches of the Customs Act.
