"VTOTICE is hereby given that at a i' Special Meeting of the Te Kuiti Borough Council, held on the twentyeighth day of November, 1910, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Council, to be held on Wednesday, the fourth day of January, 1911, at the Council Chambers, Queen street, Te Kuiti: — "In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by 'The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908,' the Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: —THAT for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £27,275, authorised to be raised by the Te Kuiti Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for: — 1. Construction of drain works ... £3128 2. Formation, metalling, widening, kerbing, drain f ing, pumicing, fencing, culverts, fascines, bridges, river deviation, breastwork, filling, bank protection, footpaths, and other works necessary in connection with the following streets: — Queen street, Seddon street, Tonga street, John street, Princess street, King street (West),Tawhana street, Carroll street (South), Ward street, Ngatai street, Edward street, Hill street, Elizabeth street, Mary street, George street, Duke street, Hikaka street, Carroll street (North), Rora street, Waiteti road, Awakino road, Esplanade (Rora street to Taupiri street), Taupiri street, Sheridan street, King street (East) , Alexandra street, Hinerangi street, Esplanade (East), and Te Kuiti 2 B, Flat. Mangaorino road to Quarry reserve, Te Kumi road, Green and Colebrook's sub-division and roads leading to Eame, Jennings street, Tawa street to Mangaorino road, South street, Hetet street, etc. ... £IO,OIO 3. Contingencies, engineering, acquiring laud for public works, etc. ... £3,137 The said Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of Twopence Farthing (2Jd) in the Pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Te Kuiti, and that such Special Rate shall beian annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of February and first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, bnng a period of 36J years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
