IMPORTED MEAT FOR AUSTRIA.

A CURIOUS POSITION

Uy Tolc'iunli. I'rtHs Association. -CoiiyrfKlit Received December 2, 9.40 p.m. Vienna, Yesterday. The Second Chamber, by 223 voles to 206, has adopted a motion in favour of the untaxed entry of transoceanic meat. The debate reveahd that the Austrian Government bat 4 found a secret agreement, which did not permit imports without Hungary's consent. Austria is now of the opinion that Hungary sanctioned the importation of ten thousand tons of Argentine meat. Hungary denies this, and says she agree! only to two thousand. It is doubtful whether the Austrian Parliament's decision will result in meat being imported.
