The Municipal Corporations Rill passed, after amendment,. The Government Railways Act. Amendment No. 2, the Mining Act Amendment and the Coal Mining Amendment Rills all passed unnmentlcd. The Libel Rill, generally approved was passed after amendments by the Attorney-General in the direction of providing for libel being dealt with summarily by a magistrate. It is to be a good defence if the defamatory matter published is true and published for the public benefit.
