SOUTH AFRICANS v. AN 11 OF AUSTRALIA. By Telesvapli.—Vresi Association-Covyrigbt Received December 2, 9 p.m. Brisbane, Last Night. The South Africans are all out for 343. Strieker 1, Snooke 0, Zulch 2, Nourse 26, Faulkner 70, Pearse, Llewellyn 50. Sinclair 47, Vogler 41. Sherwell not out 76, Pegler 8, sundries 17. Bowling analysis. McLaren four wickets for 8 runs, McCartney two for 74, Horden two for 54, Harti--gan none for 12, Matthew two for 82, Marshall none for 17. McLaren bowled two wides and three no-balls. The attendance was about 2000. Australia sent three South African wickets down for 10 runs. Nourse and Faulkner stopped the rot. The total ■was 76 before they separated. The bowling was good but the fielding poor. Six catches were dropped before the tea adjournment. Llewellyn, Sherwell and Sinclair produced a splendid effect, scoring rapidly. The innings occupied four hours and nine minutes. Australia are at the wickets.
