Legislative Council.

Wellington, Last Night. The Council met in the afternoon. The Attorney-General moved the second rending of the Legislature Bill, which was agreed to alter a .slight debate and the Bill was then put through its final stages. The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Bill was put through all stages, with a new provision constituting the country and borough oc Wairoa a Hospital district. The Shops and Offices Bill was committed and the Council adjourned at 5 p.m. The Council met in the evening. The Shops and Offices and the Rating Amendment Bills passed through all stages, ancl the Public Holidays and Municipal Corporations Bills were read a second time.
