THE VETO CONFERENCE.
NO DISCLOSURES DURING PROCESS. By Te!c3rai)h. -I'rcss Asraeialimi.- CVipyrixlit Received November 11, 9.30 p.m. London, Yesterday. Mr Asquith has authorised the following announcement-"It Is the opinion of all the members of the Conference that the conditions whereurider the proceedings are held preclude any disclosure during the course of negotiations or causes leading to their termination."
The announcement is interpreted as a wish of both sides to avoid recrimination, and to facilitate a return to the status quo ante. The hope is widely expressed. The Conference is regarded as a serious and conscienl ious effort to solve on novel lines an unprecedented problem.
