*■ GREAT POWERS INTERVENE. By Telegraph.—Press Association.—CopyrisUt Received November 1, 10.40 p.m. Teheran, Yesterday.
The Government is alleged to have discovered a letter from the ex-Shah, urging the Kerkoan tribe to support the rebels in the Nazandersn province, and has consequently resolved to cease to pay his pension. The British and Russian Ministers informed the Government that two Legation servants would wait upon foreign Ministers until the instalment was paid. The servants followed the members of the Government everywhere for two days and spent the night in the Ministers' privates residences. The instalment was then paid.
