Rosenberg Rora and King Streets TE KUITI I 1 I Now a Modern Venture Succeeded in Te Kuiti. r OUR months ago we launched our business on its enterprising i career in the teeth of a storm of headshakings and gloomy predictions. Some said that this young town was not ripe for such an up-to-date concern; others again declared that we were promising too much, and would not be able to fulfil our undertaking, and some were even so unkind as to give us only three months of existence. Nevertheless we were not deterred. We had confidence in ourselves, in our experience and in our ability to conduct a drapery business on up-to-date lines. We knew we could buy right, we knew we could give the right service, and we knew we could sell at the right prices, because our facilities for buying in the world's best markets are similar to those of the largest retail houses in the big cities, yet our distributing expenses are very considerably lower. We are pleased to say our efforts have resulted in making our business a PRONOUNCED SUCCESS from its very start, thanks to our numerous customers in this town and district, who were not slow to appreciate our methods and the fact that in our bright establishment none but reliable and fashionable goods are stocked and sold at prices that compare favourably with anything in the Auckland province. Our business, has been growing so rapidly that we have already found ourselves compelled to enlarge our premises. We have now added a modernly appointed SHOW ROOM, where our lady clients can, under the most pleasant conditions, inspect a choice variety of ready-made apparel and lingerie. We are celebrating this event —together with the opening of the Spring Season —by holding a SPECIAL DISPLAY of our extensive new Summer stock, numerous shipments of which have just come to hand, on Wednesday Next and following days. Further particulars will be duly announced in this space. R. RILEY is bringing *** some of the finest and most exclusive records. Come and hear Tetrazzini, Melba, Clara Butt, Rumford, Caruso, and other world artistes. Afternoon Tea will be provided during the Recitals. w 9 J. 8 B. Rosenberg Rora and King Streets TE KUITI
