. , Legislative Council. (By Telegraph.--Press Association.) Wellington, Last Night. At the afternoon's sitting of tho Council, the Attorney-General (Hon. Dr. Finlay) gave" notice to introduce the Inalienable Life Annuities Bill. Tho second reading of Roman Catholie Archbishop of Wellington Bill, vesting in the archbishop certain lands in Napier and Wairoa, as moved by tho Hon. Johnston, and agreed to. The Indecent Publications Bill was read a third time. The Companies Amendment Bill and (he Phosphorous Matches Bill were put through (heir final stages. The Exhibitions Bill was taken in Committee. Progress was reported and the Council adjourned.
