TE KUITI LAWN TENNIS CLUB.
A rreeting of the above club was held in the "Chronicle" office last evening. A very fair number of members and intending members were present, Mr N. Wallace occupied the chair. The secretary presented his balancesheet which was adopted. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr .1. T. Iletet; president, Mr T. F. Foy; vice-presi-dents, Major Lusk and Messrs Julian andDarrow; hon. sec. and treasurer. Mr F. C. Shaw; committee, Messrs Wallace, Matthew', Lumsden, Fahvasser, Bartleman, Kelso and Howarth. As a large number of ladies are joining the club it was decided to ask them to elect their own committee. The following new members were elected:—Mrs Cheal, Misses Graham, Gratten, Cheal, Stott, Williams, Pat'kes, Iloddio and McKenzie, and Messrs Kelso, Bartloinan, Morgan. G. Gresham. Simmons and Arrowsmith. It was resolved that the men's subscription be .i'l Is and the ladies' 10s 6d. ' The meeting terminated with a hearty vote of thanks to Mr Lumsden, the retiring secretary, ,
