N.Z. DAIRY ASSOCIATION ELECTION.
The election of the director to represent the Upper Waikato on the New Zealand Dairy Association was held on Tuesday, the poll closing at 3 o'clock on Monday. Five hundred and one shareholders voted, 25 papers were informal, while four were rejected. The resultj was as follows:--J. V. Bryant, Te Awamutn, 272 voters, 6665 votes; W. N. Sturges, Kaipaki, 184 —5182; R. J. Maisey, Gordon, 16 pointed last year to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Mr Joseph Gane, was again returned. Mr'W. L. West was re-elected unopposed for the vacancy in the Lower Waikato representation. The demand for Roslyn manufactures such as boys' and men's high grade clothing, blankets, rugs, tweeds, worsteds, yarns, unshrinkable flannel, socks, stockings, jerseys, and ladies' and gent's unshrinkable silky underwear. Delta finish, continues with undiminished force throughout New Zealand.*
