The school is designed to provide technical and agricultural education for the district, and the buildings are to cost about £4OOO. A wrestling match conducted uy Mr 11. Pearce, a well-known ju-jitsu expert and wrestler, was held on Thursday night in the Town Hall before a large audience of people. Pearce challenged all-comers that, he could throw anyone within ten minuets, and Police Constable Mathews, who was greeted with applause, took up the gage.
