The statistics do not include vast areas in South America, Asia, and Africa. The incomplete total for cattle is 430,000,000. British In'lia stands first in this connection with 91.000.0U0, including buffaloes. The closest following figures are 70,000,000 for the United States, 36,000,000 for Russia about 30,000,000 each for Argentina and B'-azil 20,000,000 for Germany 18,000,000 for Austria-Hungary 14,000,000 for France and 12,000,000 for the United Kingdom. The other incomplete totals are 580,000,000 sheep, 150,000,000 "pigs, 95,000,000 horses, 7,500,000 mules, 8,000,000 to 9,000,000 asses, and nearly 100,000,000 goats.
