At the annual training camp of the Second Regiment, Auckland Mounted Rifles, to be held at Cambridge on May Bth, it is expected that there will be Qve» 800 men present, consisting of the First, Second and Third Waikatos, Piako and Raglan. The Blue force, in charge of Captain Raines, holds the railway at Morrinaville, with camp at Mr Sfcarkey's farm. The Red force, under Captain G. Berry, of Te Kuiti, will attack the blues and try to out them from their position. Theie will be four days' fighting. The competition for the Challenge Shield (an annual event) will follow. The whole regiment will then return to Cambridge, where military sports and a ball will be held. The various units will return home on Saturday.
