COMMERCIAL.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report:— We held our usual monthly stock sale in the Te Awamutu yards on Saturday, 16th. We had a full yarding of cattle and also a few lines of sheep. Nearly all entries were keenly nought after and sold rapidly under the hammer, most of the other lots were cleared afterwards. . Competition was keen 03 all forward and fat grown cattle and good prices were realised. We quote as follows: —Fat cows £4 lis to £5, forward three year steers £5 14s, two and a half year steers £4 13s, eigh-teen-month steers £3 Is, forward cows £3 12s, forward two-year heifers £3 9s, eighteen-month dairy heifers £3 3s to £3 10s, bulls £2 10s; fat ami forward wethers 14s 6d, two-tooth wethers, small 10s, two-tooth ewes, small 8s 6d; pigs 9s 6d to 13s 3d.
