The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— At Tirau, on 7th inst., we had a yarding of IGOO sheep and 2(H) head of cattle. Trices were in keeping with those ruling at other markets, and nearly all the stores were sold. Forward wethers made 12s Gd; cull la.mbs, (is to 7s; forward lambs, 8s to 9s; cull aged ewes, 5a to 7s; d-tooth ewes, His (id; fat steers, ,'o7 ss; fat cows, £i lis to .£G for extra prime •/' fresh conditioned two and a halt to three year steers, ,-C5 ss; two year steers, .£3 15s; 12 months old steers, ,£2 ss; weaner calves, 25s to 325; yearling heifers, £2 2s. At Ohaupo on Tuesday, February Bth, we yarded 1)1 head of cattle. Prices for all classes were good, store steers selling butter than at late sales. Dairy heifers, forward in calf, sold from £3 10s to £5; two and a halt' steers up to ,54 13s; two year steers, £3 15s to £i 2s Gd; 15 to 18 months steers, £2 18s to ,£3 ss; good calves, 31s; fair calves 25s to 2!>s; two year old heifers, £?, 2s Gd to £M 10s; yearling heifer-*, £2 2s to £2 ss. At Waihou, on February 11th, therewas a muster of G7!) sheep, 130 pigs, and BG2 head of cattle. Competition was good, and with very few exceptions, all stock was sold.
