MOKAUITI SPORTS.
_ 4 The annual Mokauiti sports were held on the Aria Domain on Thursday, when delightful weather favoured the gathering. The attendance, though good, was not so large as was expected. The energetic secretary, Mr. F. O'Sullivan, worked hard, assisted by his committee, to make the sports a success, and to him in largo measure thanks are duo for the success of the meeting.
Following are tho results: — 100 Yards Eace.— Rothcry 1, W. McColl 2, Hogg 3. 100 yds R'acefor boys under 14,-Lang-muir 1, Tangahire 2, O'Brien 3. Maiden Chop, 15in block.—A. Clark 1, J. Brown 2, A. Clark 3. 220 Yards Handicap.—Hogg 1 McColl 2, McLean 3. Settlers' Race, one mile. —Hailstone 1, Ocean Beach 2. There were ten starters.
