Cricketat Te Kuiti this season has languished owing to the inability to secure matches on the. local ground. •An endeavour, was being made to eet a team to proceed to Piopio and play the country eleven on Saturday next, but the Taumarunui players, who have been, anxious for a match with Te Kuiti. for some time, have signified their intention of coming to Te Kuiti on Saturday, providing a team can be igot to meet them. Several of the local players are away at present, but shotild be. back in time to take part in the game and a good contest should result. All Te Kuiti players are requested to take part in practice during the week. The Taumarunui team will arrive at Te Kuiti by the morning train and the match will be started at 11.30 a.m.
