We cold a small herd of dairy cows at ' full market rates. Young cows in j ! milk and close to profit fetched up l<» £•1; medium sorts £-1 Ms to £5 15s: aged ditto to £3 15s. We had a fairly good yarding of cattle in Cambridge yards consisting mostly of young steers and heifer?, for which there was a good demand. Forward cows also solicited a fair amount of competition. The attendance was somewhat small on account of big sales being held in other parts of the district However, nearly all were buyers and keen bidding was th.« order of the day.
