HAMILTON HORTICULTURAL SHOW.
The above Show was held in Hamilton yesterday and proved successful, there being a good show of flowers and pot plants. The sweet peas were undoubtedly the feature of the Show and were a tine exhibition. The rose® were good, but the show of vegetables was not a# good as expected. The following were the plrncipal prize takers in the various classes: Pot Plants: Mrs Parr, Mrs Gwynne, Mrs Jones, Miss Searancke. Mrs (swynne obtained the championship. Cut Flowers: Roses: Dr Douglas, champion; Mrs Brewis, President's trophy. Swept Peas, 24 varieties: Mrs Parr; l i varieties, Mrs Vetder; 6 varieties. It. J. Gwynne.
