The past season's lambing has been exceedingly satisfacotry and cptite onnasal percentages of increase are reported in at! tfce Hocks of this district. The bachelors of Piopio and sor rounding districts are giving a ball on the 29th of October, and it will be the event of the season, t hope that they wilt be rewarded with fine weather after all the trouble that they are going to. The Paemakc school committee are going to have a concert and dance on the 19th irtst. in aid of the school priae fond*. Too roach praise cannot be given to ?4r Lewis, our eeacfadriver. for the way that be has kept going alt through Che winter, wet or fine.
