WEDDING BELLS.

Fortescue —Graham. A very pretty wedding took place on Tuesday morning last at St. Andrew's Church, Hamilton, where Miss Goldie Graham, second daughter of Mrs J. J. Graham, of Kelvyn, Claudelands, was united in the bands of matrimony to Mr Scepten J Fortescue, of Te Kuiti, eldest son of Mr Stephen Fortescue of Streatbam, England. The nuptial ceremony was solemnly carried out by the Rev. W. Gow, of Cambridge. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr. looked very winsome in white lawn, exquisitely embroidered, and she also wore a beautiful veil and the orthodox spray of orange blossoms. Miss Jean Graham, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid. After the ceremony the guestrepaired to Kelvyn, where there was provided a recherche repast. The bride was the recipient of many beautiful presents. The church was very prettily decorated by the girl friends of the bride. Mr and Mrs Fortescue left for Rotorua immediately after the ceremony and subsequently did the Wanganui river trip from Taumarunui. Mr Fotrescue has resided at Te Kuiti for about two years, and has always taken an active part in prorgessive movements. He intends residing in Auckland for the present, but expects to return to Te Kuiti later, and take up his residence permanently in the King Country centre.
