A toe powers vested in it in that behalf by the "Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908," the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows: — THAT for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £SOO authorised to be raised by the Waitomo County Council under the provisions of Section 15 of the above mentioned Act for the purpose of WIDENING and METALLING that portion of the Otorohanga—Hangatiki road commencing from the northeast corner of Section 9 to the southern corner of Section 2 of Block VIII Orahiri Survey District; the said Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a SPECIAL RATE of ONE PENNY FARTHING (lid) in the pound on the basis of the Capital Value of all Rateable Property in the Mataparu Special Rating District, comprising the I whole of sections 2, 3, A, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. 10 and 11 of Block VIII. Orahiri, and Orahiri No. 1 Section 22 Block. Such Special Rate shall be an Annual Recurring Rate during the currency of such loan and payable yearly on the i 31st day of March in each and every year duririg the currency of such loan, being a period of 41 years at 3J per cent, or until the loan is fully paid ofF and it is the intention to pay out of loan the cost of raising same, and the first year's interest.
