By Telegram. THIS DAY. Mr W. T. Jennings M.P., has received worj from Ih? Minister of Mines statins that Dr Bel! the Government Geologist has been instructed to report on the Mokau oil fields when next he visits Tcranaki. The Acting-Minister of Lands has informed Mr Jennings that further surveys of the upper Mohakatino-Mo-kau Crown Lands will be made as soon as the surveyors have completed the Totara and Waimehia block. The Mohakatiho block will then be thrown open for sek-ction.
