FOOTBALL SOCIAL.
On TRorsclay evening last the annual social wader the auspices of the Te Koiti Football CTob was held. Fine weather prevailed ami aboot 30 couples graced the Boor, which was in perfect order. Doting the evening Mr C. H. Phillip*. President of the Club, presented to 11. Rothery the medal for the most consistent player daring' the season. Other trophies which had been won by Messrs Black and P iteon were to have been presented hot the trophies were not to hand and it was announced these wovtd b« presented at the next meeting of tlwreton. Mr PhilWps »!»«> presented to Mr A. Cresham, on behalf of the Club. a set of sleeve links and a sliver match box, eulogistic reference being made to Mr Cresham for the valuable services rendered to the Club as Secret* The music during the evening was supplied by Messrs J. T. He let, piano and J. Saunders, violin, extras being played by Miss Kerr, Mcasrs Cresham and Hira. The catering which was in the hands of Messrs Lever Bros., was excellently carried oot, and thw dance terminated at 2 a.m. „ , Mr F. Witt tarns ably fulfilled the duties of M.C.
