The Bachelor's Ball at Nihoniho proved the success of the season. The Factory butter room was far too small for the dancers assembled who were ' at limes very closely packed. The ; committee in charge had made the most of their time and had all the refreshments brought in from Auckland, and securing Mr Meredith as their musician did their best for the visitors and by their attendance showed their appreciation. The Bachelors were so elated with their success that next day : they set too and defeated the Matiere Football representatives at Nihoniho.
