Judgment went for plaintiff for fall amount £5 12s 10d and costs £4 ft* 9d. Vincent Tuni. carpenter, of Te Awamutn, for whom Mr Collins appeared, v. D. Rosso. Otorobanga. Claim for £l4 2s for carpentering done. Judgment for plaintiff for £2 ITs without costs. J. E. Skuse v. Rangi Katipa, £5 17s fid and cost:* by de fault. —Judgment Summons. G. Miles, for whom r Collins appeared, v. John Watts. Morrinsville. Claim .£l7 7s 6d. -Adjourned to December 3rd. —Criminal Cases.— Police v. Toon: Accused was charg!ed with theft of an umbrella the property of G. Bishop at Kihikihi on Aui gust 14th.-—Convicted and fined £1 and cost* XI 19s» or in default 14 days imprisonment. Police v. Charles Wilson, defended by Mr Finlay? Wilson, a labourer residing at Kihikihi was charged with the theft of a Kiwi kit containing a purse and 17s 6d in money the property of Mrs A Mainwaringat Kihikihi on the 17th August. This case occupi'ed the Court for some time. The bench made some strong remarks at ! Defendant's conduct in connection | with the incident but said he did not feel justified in convicting, and the : case was dismissed. Leonard Cosgrove a half-caste was charged with forging a cheque for £6 purporting to be signed by E. J. Walters, and ottering the same to John G. Elmsty. On the application of Constable Lander, the accused was remanded to appear at Te Awamolu on Friday next at 9 a.m. —Pension*.— Eight old age pensions were renewled. One new claim granted and two mm claims adjourned.
