In our amusement column Mr Charlie Taylor and Miss Ella C'arrington announce their reappearance here in drama on Thursday, August 26th, when assisted by a large and efficient dramatic company, they will produce the Irish pjay "Home Rule." When the T.C. management foriook the drama for moving picture business tbey left avoid in our provincial amusements very difficult to fill, for being residential management they were in a position to present excellent dramatic performances at much cheaper admission rates than visiting managements could, when hampered by the heavy
expenses consequent upon conveying their companies and material to and from New Zealand. So local playgoer? will have an opportunity of enjoying their favourite amusement at pricey so reasonable as to place it within the reach of all and enable families to attend "en masse."
