OTOROHANGA MOUNTED RIFLES.

♦ Annual Inspection. The Otorobanga Troop. 2nd Regiment A.M.R.. paraded for the annual inspection by the Officer Commanding, on Saturday afternoon last at 1 p.m. Tbere was a splendid attendance, members to the number of 25 under Lieutenant Henderson being present. At the conclusion of the inspection Colonel Bell expressed bis gratifies tion at the great strides being made by the troop, and urged each and every one of them to put their best efforts forward to further increase its efficiency, and ultimately lay the foundation of a strong military organisation in the King Country. The troop was then taken in hand by the Staff Instructor, Sergt. Major Coleman, and exercises in troop drill and musketry were carried out smartly and efficiently.
