In connection with the election of a member for Te Kuiti Riding on th* Waitomo County Council, two nommatkme have been received for the position by V e Returning Officer, Mr John Ormsby, and the polling day has been fixed for Wednesday next, July 28tb. Mr John Tamraadge wilt act aa Deputy Returning Officer on uolling day. The gentlemen nominated. Mr T. Pine and Mr J. Boddie, are both well known in the district, and a close contest is expected.
