Limited, reoort as follows: At Ohaupo on Tuesday last, we had a yarding of 1050 wethers. 460 ewes in lamb. 125 hoggets, 550 head of well bred cattle; also a number of horses, implements. a::d too;;, on behalf of Mr James Baxter and Burke Eros, and Cleary. There was a large attendance good bidding, ano practically a clearance of the whole yarding. "'"ethers sold at about late values; ewes in lamb improved in price a little Forward bullocks were not in aemand. in fact buyers were very indifferent: young cattle up to two and a half years, however, were required, and sold better thn they have for months. Hoggets 7s 6d to Ss 7d; forward wether; 12-y 31 to 14s; store wethers 10= Od to 11; 9d; fresh full mouth ewes in lamb 14s 6d; aged ewes 0; Id: Lincoln ewes in lamb 20s; large framed forward 5 year bullocks £5 15s to £6 12;: forward three and a half to four vear steer; £5 to £5 10s; well bred 3 "ear steers £4 6s to £4 15s: two t-- two and a half year steers £3 7s 6d to £0 15; Od; IS month steers £2 0; to £2 l"s: yearling steers £2 Is; good calves 25= "to 30s; smaller sorts 20s: forward err.ttv heifers £3 10s to £4 7s od ; cuiet'neifers. some in calf and some empty. £3 to £3 19s; choice dairy heifers in calf £5 9s; Shorthorn cows from James Baxter £6 6s to £ll lis; heifer; 3 1-2 to 7 guineas; Hacks £l7 to £le 10s. ! The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report as follows : — At Hamilton on the loth inst., we penned 440 fat and store sheep, 65 head of beef, and 200 store cattle. These were required by buyers present __ and all sold readily at most satisfaccry " prices.
