Mr. C. J. Parr spoke strongly on the subject of Defence at the opening of the new Technical School «i Otahuhu last Wednesday. It was a sinful waste of splendid material, and it was to be deplored that the Prime Minister had not risen to the occasion and insisted that the cadets should continue military training after leaving school until they were 21 years of age.
