THE PIOPIO BURGLARY.
I On Wcdne-fday morning at T<- Kuit | Police Court, before Messrs Tammadgc {and Sims. J's.P.. two young men f named Victor Charles Herbert and Arthur George Helem, were charged with, j on April 18th, breaking and entering Mr V. S. Hattaway's store at Piopio, and stealing therefrom a number of articles valued at £lO. Accused were also charged with on, or about, April 14th, at MoKau, breaking and entering the whare of Wetini, and stealing a pair of car rings and a silk handkerchief. Accused were remanded until Tuesday next, April 27th, to appear at Te Kuiti.
