The Easter encampment of the volunteers of the Auckland district was held this year at Morrinsville, about 700 men and ofltors taking part in the manoeuvres. Notwithstanding the fact that rain interfered somewhat with the programme {aid down, the camp was a great success, and the work of the men showed a a great improvement as, compared with the previous year. The King Country conjin!;ent at the camp consisted of three rqm Te Kujti, and eight from Otorohanga, under lieutenant Turner. The contingent left for camp on Thursday evening and returned by the second train on Monday evening.
