NAVAL SITUATION.
The following cable message was despatched on Monday by Mr T. E. Taylor, M.P., to the Prime Minister of Great Britain: -"Cabinet's offer of a Dreadnought was made without consultation of Parliament or people. There is an increasing feeling that the offer was an unconstitutional and unfortunate interference with British party politics. Believe Parliament would gladly increase naval PVJpsidy.— Signed, T, E. Taylor, member for Cbristcburcb North.
