The Farmers' Auctioneering Co., Limtied, report as follows: - We held our second sheep fair at Ohaupo last Wednesday and have to report a very successful sale. There was a large attendance and bidding was brisk throughout. We yarded 19,500 sheep, comprising 4500 lambs, 12037 ewes, 2450 wethers, and 300 rams, and with the exception of 1600 sheep all were sold. We quote fat and forward lambs 9s 2d to lis; less conditioned lambs 7s to 8s lid; store lambs 5s 6d to 6s 7d; choice 2-tooth ewes lis 6d to 17s; smaller sheep 12s 5d to 13s lOd; choice 4 and 6-tooth ewes 15s 6d to 17s Id; others 13s 3d toluiGd; sound full mouth ewes 10s 3d to 10s 6d; failing mouths 7s 3d to 9a 8d; old ewes 4s 6d to 6s; fat wethers 12s lid; 2-tooth wethers 10s 4d to lis sd; smaller sheep 8s Id to 9s lOd; 4 tooth wethers 10s 6d to lis 6d; 2tooth Shropshire rams 2jgs.; 2-tooth English Leicester 2to 2jgs.; 2-tooth Romney 2J to 4gs.; 2-tooth Lincolns 3J to 4gs.; 4-tooth Lincolns ligs.; aged rams 2s 6d to 1 guinea.
