Flour is firm, spot sales being effected in London at 28s <sd, and parcel shipments ft 27s 3d to 2?* (& c.U. The high prices have checked business. Glasgow sellers are holding for 29s €d, the terms of the March-April-May shipment. from Chriatehurcb comes advice that there has been a large amount of wheat offered during the week. The news of a rise in the market in Sydney, published on Thursday, has caused a> tittle more keenness in the inquiry. •nd sellers are now asking more. Most of the business recodred took placet however, before the news of the rite arrived.
