The numerous up-to-date recently erected bear abundant tartftnony to the fact that great confluence is felt in the future advancement of the district. Sir Jackson, of the Te Awamuto Hotel, has already arranged for the modernising of his hoi Ming. while Mr Bathurst, of the CMMBntial is likewise arranging for conaiderable improvements being effected. When completed, both hotels triß afford accomodation second to nam to be obtained in any country town of similar sixc to Te Awamuto. DnJgety and Co.. of auctioneering fame, instituted their sates here on Saturday last, when there was a good mooter of cattle of different classes, and the succes-t attending the enterwise folly warranted a continuance.
