The newly-formed -oca: cricket team underwent its "baptism of fire" on Sunday last, in a match with Manunui, played at the Manunui Cricket Ground. The team journeyed to Taumarunui by rail on Saturday night, and was met at the station by the secretary of the Manunui Cricket Club. Mr J. W. L. White.
