TE KUITI SPORTS.
♦ The Sports gathering under the auspices of the fe Kuiti Athletic Club, which is to be held on the Domain on March 3rd. gives promise of being a great success. The nominations are arriving in good numbers and the chief event, the Te Kuiti Handicap Chop, is attracting widespread interest. The ground is being placed in good order, ana special attention is being devoted to the running track. Local interest is at a high pitch, and the committee are sparing no efforts to make the gathering a thumping success. The socia! m the evening will be of a thoroughly representative character, and should be a fitting close to the ?ports gathering.
