The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report as follows: — At Qhaupo on Tuesday we had a good yarding of cattle, about 405 head being offered and all sold, principally under the hammer. Well grown 12 to 15 months steers realised £3 to £3 ss; 2 year old steers, £3 15s to £3 17s; mixed yearlings, £2 5s to £2 8s 6d; yearling heifers, £1 5s to £1 13s; two year old empty heifers, £2 17s 6d to £3 17s, according to quality; dairy cows close to profit, £6 10s to £7 2s 6d; springing heifers, £6 to £8; aged cows in milk, £2 10s to £4 15s; aged ewes and'lambs, 17s 6d; Waggon, £l7; a lot of implements and sundries to close an estate at usual rates.
