At Te Kuiti on Wednesday, October 7th, we yarded 995 head of cattle, chiefiy 1 to 2| year old' steers, the most of them, however, being in rather backward condition. • Fpesh conditioned 3 year old steers, £5 2s to £5 18s; 24 year old steers, £4 2s 6d to £4 12s 6d; 1£ to 2 year old steers, £o 5s to £3 15s; empty 2 year old heifers, £2 Gs to £2 15s; yearling heifers, 30s to 365; mixed yearlings, £1 16s to £2 ss; store cows, £2 10s to £3; fat and forward wethers, 17s; wether hoggets, lis to 13s 5d.; aged store ewes, 8s; a few horses, £2 5s to £l2.
