HANGATIKI.
(Own Correspondent.) Mr A. Wilson,' District Surveyor, who has not "long returned from Coromandel, will shortly proceed to Opotiki to cut up a block of 15,000 acres. Rabbit poisoning this year seems to have been very successful as very few rabbits are to be seen about. Grass has commenced to grow and animals are beginning to brighten-up a ter the winter's trials. Judging by the liberal grants in this year's Estimates the road to the Caves should be very good next year.
