TE KUITI TENNIS CLUB.
A well - attended meeting of the above club was held in Mr Kerr's dining room on Thursday evening of last week, when fully thirty members were present. Mr Archer was in the chair. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, and the balance sheet was adopted. The following officers were then elected for the ensuing year: Patrons —Messi'S Massey aid Jennings, M's.P. President—Mr J. T. Hetet Vice-Presidents —Messrs Larritt. Mclndee, Somerville, Darrow and Julian. Secretary and Treasurer —Mr E. H. Baker. Management Committee Messrs Archer, Johnson, Julian,Eroadfont and Gresham. Ladie's Committee — Mesdames Gobb, Blackf&an, Adams, Misses Beaufort and Meling.' A long discussion ensued over the ground and the advisability to move to more convenient grounds, but the matter was finally shelved for a future meeting of the management committee to consider.
