BY ORDER. Waitomo County Council. SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPECIAL RATE. A SPECIAL MEETING of the Waitomo County Council will"be held at TeKuiti on MONDAY, the 26th day of October, 1908, for the purpose of confirming the following SPECIAL ORDER, passed at their special meeting held at TeKuiti on the 11th day of September," 1908. "In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 14 of th-> Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows : "That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £IOOO authorised to be raised by the Waitomo County • 'Council under the- provisions of Section 14 of the above mentioned Act for the purpose of widening and metalling a of the Mangaorino Road, between the north-west' corner of Section 1, Block 111, Otanake S.D., and the northern boundary of Section 3, Block XVI, Orahiri S.D.; the said Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of 2d in the £ upon the rateable value of ail rateable property of the Mangaorino Special Rating District. The Special Rating District comprises the whole cf the following sections, viz:—Sectoins 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, Block XVI, and Sections 1 and 7, Block XV, Orahiri S.D. Sections 1, 2. 3 and 4j Block IV, Otanake S.D. Pukeroa-Hangatiki, Nos. 3a and 3b Blocks. Te Kumi, No. 5 Block. Te Kuiti, No 2a Block; ai.d Te Kuiti, 2b, No. 3 Block. And that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such Loan and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in e,ach and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 26 years at 4$ per centum, or until the loan is fully paid off j and it is the intention to pay out of loan the cost of raising same and the first year's interest."
